HydroR ?'s

Mar 1, 2012 at 6:20 PM

I've run into a couple issues with HydroR that hopefully have easy solutions.

1) I'm asked for the path the R every time I open HydroDesktop.

2) When using 'Send All' the script ends prematurely.  Several lines will run and the variables will load but it just stops at some point.  I can go back and load each command by line or selection just fine.  Screencap:

Any ideas?

1) This is a known issue in the 1.3 recommended release. This bug has been fixed in 1.4.8 Experimental release which is going through final testing now.

2) This is a known issue in HydroR. I'm having the same problem in HydroR. See description at I have contacted the USU team who are the developers of HydroR to find out if they were able to make progress on this issue.

The issue 2) is now fixed in the newest HydroDesktop 1.4.8 experimental release.

The two R bugs I mentioned have been squashed. The location of R.exe
on my x64 system stored properly and I ran a 100 line script just
fine. Overall program speed has increased too. Glad to see variable
added to the graph legend as well. Good Job!

The Geostatistical Tool looks interesting. I've been doing some basic
pairs() plots and trying to get best fit nth polynomials but my R
skills are lacking. Nice to see more stats on the table for HD.

Thanks for the fixes!
