Benefits of Mercurial... ? Switch back to SVN?

Team, there has been some trouble with the Mercurial code repository - in particular the "502 Bad Gateway" has been coming up for several people lately. We have contacted Codepex support to see if they can help us. However, maybe this is evidence that Mercurial is not significantly better than Subversion for this repository. What do you all think? - Dan

I alerted them this morning.
It's only happening for the Hydrodesktop project... All the other ones
are functioning (hydrocatalog, dotspatial; see
http://hydro10.sdsc.edu:88/).

Mercurial is better than the Subversion interface over Team Foundation Server.

If the Codeplex is funky, we can always use a different repository.

For all HydroDesktop developers:

To get the latest code, please make a new folder, and run TortoiseHG - Clone with the "Use Uncompressed Tranfer" option checked.
